Tisch Students and Faculty Toast Benefactor Mel Silverman

Tisch School of the Arts Dean Mary Schmidt Campbell hosted a reception in May to celebrate Mel Silverman (Stern ‘48) for his two decades of support for students in the Tisch Graduate Acting Program. Members of the program and faculty joined the dean and numerous past scholarship recipients in toasting Mel for his continued support of the students and alumni. Silverman, pictured second from left, established the Mel Silverman Scholarship at Tisch in 1984.
