Hip Hop Mogul Russell Simmons Tackles Anti-Semitism and Islamophobia

Def Jam co-founder Russell Simmons, far right, moderated an Oct. 22 panel on Muslim-Jewish relations, which featured, seated from right to left, Rabbi Marc Schneier, Imam Muhammad Shamsi Ali, Rabbi Yehuda Sarna, and Imam Khalid Latif. The panel candidly discussed the challenges and opportunities of building Muslim-Jewish relations on campus and examined the work that Simmons and Schneir are doing to combat anti-Semitism and Islamophobia across the globe.
