Support the 25th Anniversary of the NYU Community Fund
In 1982, members of the faculty, administrative, and clerical staff founded the NYU Community Fund as a way to assist organizations serving the communities surrounding the University’s campuses. Since then, the fund has raised and distributed over $2 million for hundreds of nonprofit organizations involved in the arts, children and youth, education, the elderly and the homeless.
You can help celebrate this milestone year by visiting www. nyu.edu.community.fund to make a pledge or one-time gift to the NYU Community Fund or United Way of NYC, and to ensure that this vital community resource continues to provide help for our neighbors in need.
Also available at the Web site is a 25th Anniversary video that features the many organizations the fund supports and the impressive range of their endeavors—encouraging at-risk young people to stay in school, providing services for the elderly, feeding the hungry, supporting projects for persons with HIV/AIDS, cancer, heart disease and other health problems, and sustaining literacy, tutorial, and ESL programs.
Every penny of contributions to the NYU Community Fund goes directly to charity—so pledge your support or make a one-time gift today!
