Bloomberg Offers Aid to Nonprofits in Troubled Times

      New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg announced a series of initiatives to help the nonprofit sector weather the economic downturn at a forum sponsored by the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. The April 6 event at NYU’s Kimmel Center was attended by hundreds of public service leaders, with opening remarks delivered by President John Sexton and by Wagner Dean Ellen Schall.
