Stern School Dean and Faculty Celebrate New Book by Ringing the NASDAQ Closing Bell
On April 14, Stern Dean Thomas F. Cooley and 15 Stern professors, all co-authors of the recently released book, Restoring Financial Stability: How to Repair a Failed System, rang the closing bell at the NASDAQ stock exchange in Times Square. The book, which was published in early March, was a collaborative effort of more than 30 Stern professors to provide an in-depth analysis of the current financial crisis and specific policy recommendations on how to solve the current crisis and how to avoid another one in the future.
