French and American Writers Discuss Creative Process
NYU recently hosted the “Festival of New French Writing,” which featured 11 sessions of a French and American writer discussing their literary experiences and ambitions. The event drew more than 2,000 guests to campus over three days and was curated by journalist and author Olivier Barrot and Tom Bishop, Florence Gould Professor of French Literature and director of the Center for French Civilization and Culture, with Fabrice Gabriel of the Cultural Services of the French Embassy and Paul de Sinety of CulturesFrance.
