Celebrating NYU’s 2008 Authors in the Humanities

In March, the Humanities Initiative at NYU and NYU Press hosted the second annual “Cocktails for NYU Authors in the Humanities,” a reception to celebrate all authors, editors, and translators of books in the humanities that came out in 2008. The reception also featured an exhibit of many of the 2008 NYU faculty-authored books. Pictured above, from left, are Steve Maikowski, director, NYU Press, Provost David W.
