Dear NYU Today Readers: A Letter From the Editor

      As of June, after more than two decades of bringing you news of the greater University community, NYU Today will cease its regular print publication. But we’re not going away; starting in September 2009, there will be a new online version of NYU Today to keep you more informed—and connected—than ever.
      The online edition will continue to offer what you have come to expect from NYU Today—the latest University news, essential information, and feature stories—plus new capabilities, such as video and photo galleries that will offer a fresh view of things happening across campus and throughout Greenwich Village.
      This change is the result of an effort to increase sustainability, keep news more current, reduce admini¬strative spending, and expand the resources offered to faculty, staff, administrators, and students. The revamped NYU Today can be found online next fall at www.nyu.edu/nyutoday, with links available at www.nyu.edu and on NYUHome.
      In the meantime, we invite you to send suggestions to nyutoday@nyu.edu on what features or tools you’d most like to see on the site.
