Wagner Students, Alumni, and Scholars Gather to Discuss Social Innovation

The Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service student group Bridge for Social Entrepreneurship drew more than 125 professionals, fellow students, alumni, and faculty to “From Innovation to Impact,” a discussion on topics associated with bringing about social innovation and pattern-breaking change. Bridge was established in 2006 to engage the NYU community in ideas associated with social entrepreneurship. The event was held at Wagner, home base of the NYU Reynolds Program in Social Entrepreneurship. Among the participants were Bridge external communications co-chair Catherine Ward (pictured at right), Wagner Visiting Scholar Irshad Manji, director of the school’s Moral Courage Project, and Professor of Public Service Paul Light, author of The Search for Social Entrepreneurship (2008).
