Experts Discuss Religion and Moral Courage
“Hope, Not Fear,” was the title of a recent forum on moral courage with Irshad Manji (right), director of the Moral Courage Project (MCP) at the Research Center for Leadership in Action (RCLA) at the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, and Edgar Bronfman, chairman of Hillel’s International Board of Governors. The dialogue about visionary leadership between Manji, who is Muslim, and Bronfman, who is Jewish, was held on Oct. 29 in the Great Hall at Cooper Union. Presented by MCP, it was co-sponsored by the NYU Bronfman Center Selma Ruben Distinguished Lecture Series and by RCLA.
