Four Professors Presented with NYU’s 2007-08 Distinguished Teaching Award

Four NYU faculty members were recently awarded the 2007-08 Distinguished Teaching Award, an annual honor that highlights NYU’s commitment to teaching excellence. Recipients are awarded a medal and a grant of $5,000.
    
The NYU Distinguished Teaching Award winners are Peggy Cooper Davis, John S. R. Shad Professor of Lawyering and Ethics, director of the Lawyering Program in the School of Law; Barbara Krainovich-Miller, clinical professor and program coordinator in nursing education in the College of Nursing; Carol Krinsky, professor in the Department of Art History, Faculty of Arts and Science; and Jonathan Zimmerman, professor of education and history in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development

Students, faculty, and alumni are invited to submit nominations to their school’s representative before Nov. 14, 2008.
