Record Breaking Year for TSOA at Sundance
The Tisch School of the Arts
(TSOA) and its Kanbar Institute of Film & Television marked their 15th year
at the Sundance Film Festival with a private reception in Park City, Utah on
Jan. 19. This year, TSOA celebrates a record-tying 57 films in the festival,
with a record-breaking 170 from NYU alumni, students, and faculty attached,
representing directors, producers, screenwriters, actors, cinematographers, and
editors, among others. Of the more than 200 films to be screened at Sundance,
17 are directed by alumni. The Sundance Film Festival awards were given out on
January 26.
