Diane Yu Elected an AMA Trustee
The American Management Association (AMA), a world leader in professional development and performance-based learning solutions, recently elected Diane C. Yu, chief of staff and deputy to President John Sexton, to a three-year term on its board of trustees.
Yu is currently chair of the ABA Commission on Women in the Profession. She also sits on the boards of the American Corporate Counsel Association, the White House Fellows Association, and the Asian American Bar Association of New York (AABANY). She was elected to the American Law Institute in 2000 and is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation.
Yu previously held the position of associate general counsel and managing counsel at the Monsanto Company. Prior to that, she was general counsel for the State Bar of California, a California Superior Court commissioner, appointed by the President of the United States as a White House Fellow, and in private practice in Oakland, CA.
