Phi Beta Kappa at NYU Celebrates 150 Years

NYU’s Beta Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa inducted 137 new members into the society at a mid-May ceremony in the Eisner and Lubin Auditorium of the Kimmel Center for University Life. The event marked the 150th anniversary of Phi Beta Kappa at NYU. Among the ceremony’s speakers were Karla Soloria, pictured above, who graduated from the College of Arts and Science in May, and Allison Blakely, president of the National Phi Beta Kappa Society, who delivered the keynote address.
