Pulitzer Prize-Winning Historian Delivers Sani Lecture

Pulitzer Prize-winning historian David Oshinksy, right, presented the 2008 Ashok C. Sani Distinguished Scholar in Residence Lecture, “Polio: A Look Back at the 20th Century’s Most Successful Public Health Campaign,” in March in the Rosenthal Pavilion at the Kimmel Center for University Life. Oshinsky, a professor of history at the University of Texas, Austin, won a Pulitzer in history for his book, Polio: An American Story. Ashok C. Sani (Stern ’74) was president of C.G.S. Industries Inc. and former chair of the Stern School of Business Alumni Council.
