Moving African Development Onto the World Stage

NYU’s Africa House recently hosted an event entitled “Africa-The Changing Face: The Face of the Future,” in the Abbe-Bogen Faculty Lounge at the Kaufman Management Center. Donald Kaberuka, pictured above at left, president of the African Development Bank, spoke about his goal to position the bank as a knowledge center for economic development in Africa, and to make it the nerve-center for research being done around the world. At right is Yaw Nyarko, associate provost for multicultural affairs and director of Africa House.
