2008 Gallatin Arts Festival to Consider Arts and Dialogue

Dance, staged theater readings, and concerts are just part of the Gallatin Arts Festival, which will take place from April 7 through April 12 at locations at and around NYU.

For a complete listing of events and locations, visit the festival Web site at: www.nyu.edu/gallatin/gaf. All festival events are free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. The public may call 212-998-7377 or e-mail gallatin.arts.festival.club@ nyu.edu for more information.

The Gallatin Arts Festival, which debuted in 1992, features the works of more than 100 up-and-coming student artists. This year’s theme is “The Artist in Dialogue,” which encourages students to consider how their works serve as a dialogue with the audience and how their art may spur discussion or debate.
