Thirty-First Annual ‘Small Works’ Exhibition on View

The 31st annual “Small Works” exhibition is on view at 80 Washington Square East Galleries through March 14.

Providing a forum for both established and undiscovered artists working in small format, this juried exhibition includes over 200 artworks in every medium imaginable. Richard Witter of OK Harris Works of Art in New York was the juror of this year’s competition.

The work of several alumni of the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development is on display, including Disposable #2-A Coffee Cup by Jung Won Sung (M.A., ’06), which won “Best in Show.” Other Steinhardt alumni include Steve Edles (M.A., ’86), who earned an “Honorable Mention” for his Woman with Turban (pictured at right), and Anthony P. Clune (M.F.A., ’06).

Gallery viewing hours are Tues., 10-7 p.m., Weds. and Thurs., 10-6 p.m., and Sat., 10-5 p.m.
