Steinhardt Students Stage Floyd Collins in Loewe Theatre
Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development juniors Jay Armstrong Johnson, below, and Nic Rouleau at a dress rehearsal for Floyd Collins, a musical by Tony Award-winning composer Adam Guettel (score) and Tina Landau (book and additional lyrics) based on the true story of a caver who was trapped while exploring Kentucky’s Sand Cave in 1925. The production, presented by Steinhardt’s Department of Music and Performing Arts Professions, runs February 8-10 and 14-17 at the Frederick Loewe Theatre.
