New Housing Available for Purchase on Roosevelt Island for Eligible NYU Candidates

    NYU is offering eligible employees currently living in NYU housing an opportunity to purchase a condominium unit at Riverwalk Landing, a premier, newly constructed, luxury building located on Roosevelt Island. Under NYU’s Riverwalk Landing Purchase Program, 58 condominium units are being offered for sale to affiliates at a discount from their market value and with attractive financing. Eligible affiliates (as defined below) may purchase units in which they and their spouses/ domestic partners can remain post-retirement.

    Eligible affiliates are NYU employees currently living inNYU-owned rental housing who do not have a pre-existing requirement to vacate such housing. Visitors, rent controlled tenants, rent stabilized tenants, post doctoral fellows, graduate students, faculty fellows, acting professors and subtenants are not deemed eligible affiliates, and medical faculty in dedicated NYU Medical School apartments are not eligible.

    The eligible affiliates must occupy the Riverwalk Landing condominium as his/her principal residence if they use NYU financing.
