Site Availability vs. Publish

In Blackboard

Dr. Tester has made her course site available via Control Panel > Course Settings> Course Availability.

In NYU Classes

When Dr. Tester has completed building out her course and is ready to make her course available to students, she needs only to go to Settings and choose Manage Access and Publish Site.

Publish in NYU classes

Dr. Tester can tell if her site is left in draft vs. published mode by seeing the “Unpublished Site” icon at the top left of her course menu. This icon will be removed as soon as she publishes her site.
