  • The month/year date on the right side of your card represents the expiration date of the card. The date is good through the end of the month in the year indicated (Affiliate NYUCards are based on their exact NYU affiliation date).
  • If the date on the card has expired or is about to expire, you should return your card to the NYUCard Center.
  • If you have discarded your expired NYUCard and are seeking a replacement card, you will be charged a $15 replacement fee (we accept cash or campus cash only).
  • Electronic access privileges are assigned on a semester basis and are based on several factors; therefore your card may not work even if the card date is valid. Please check with the NYUCard Center for a status update.
  • In addition to the important telephone numbers on the back of your card, your University ID and NetID are located above the barcode.
