A student trying to obtain a NYU ID Card will have their eligibility verified in the Registrar system. The Registrar who has the final authorization as to determines card eligibility whether a card is to be issued. To verify eligibility, please contact the Card Center at (212) 443-CARD. Once verified, you may go to the Card Center located at 7 East 12th Street, ground level. You must bring proof of identification (i.e. State Driver’s License, State Photo ID, or Passport).

All employees and Affiliates must present a New York University – ID Card Authorization Form completed by the appropriate individual from their home department in order to receive a new or replacement ID card. Bring the completed form to the Card Center, located at 7 East 12th Street, ground level, along with a valid from of identification (i.e. State Driver’s License, State Photo ID, or Passport) and have your picture taken for your ID.
