The NYU College of Nursing (NYUCN) has embarked on an ambitious strategic plan to double its full-time faculty in the next four year and to build a new state-of-the-art nursing facility to significantly increase scholarship and research in the field of Nursing and address the world wide nursing shortage.
The following opportunities are available for immediate hire:
- Clinical Faculty Position in the Care of Adults and Older Adults
- The Mathy Mezey Professorship in Geriatric Nursing
- Tenure/Tenure-Track (several positions available): Doctorate in Nursing or related field and active program of research and scholarship or documented evidence of potential for significant scholarly activity required.
- Clinical Assistant, Associate and Professor (several positions available): Doctorate in Nursing or related field required. Clinical expertise in a specialty area and teaching experience required.
- Clinical Instructor (several positions available): Master's Degree in Nursing required. Clinical expertise in a specialty area and teaching experience preferred.
For Clinical positions, preferred areas of specialty include, but are not limited to, maternal health, pediatrics, community health, mental health, medical-surgical and nursing care of adults and older adults, NP specialties, nursing education, nursing administration, and informatics.
