Medel Salvador-Paguirigan, MS, RN, CNN, has 25 years of clinical experience in the field of nephrology, plasmapheresis, critical and perioperative care that caters to both pediatric and adult population. Prior to his job as a Clinical Instructor of Nursing, he worked at the New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center. He obtained his BSN at the University of the City of Manila (Philippines) and Master of Science (Nursing Education) at NYU. He was a recipient of the Margaret Wolfe-Hirschberg (2005) and Sen. Patricia McGee Nursing Faculty Scholarship (2006) award. As a graduate student, he contributed, developed and implemented the CHF and COPD clinical scenarios for the Leadership Simulation lab (Spring, 2006). As an adjunct faculty, he taught the lab component of Health Assessment and Promotion and Adult Health Nursing.
