Mary Brennan is clinical assistant professor of nursing at the NYU College of Nursing. She received her bachelor’s degrees from Salem State College and her MS from Boston College in the nurse practitioner/clinical nurse specialist program in primary care. Mary has previously been a clinical instructor at The Steinhardt School of Education and has taught courses on adult acute care, emphasizing advanced practice theory, differential diagnosis, diagnostic reasoning and clinical decision-making. She was awarded the Massachusetts "Staff Nurse of the Year" and a "Staff Nurse Award" for clinical excellence.
