Jennifer Katarivas, M.S.N., R.N., B.S.N., graduated nursing school with an Associates Degree in Nursing in 1993. While working, she returned to school to complete a Bachelor of Science with a major in Nursing and then a Master of Science in Nursing/Nursing/Health Care Education. She began her nursing career on a medical/surgical unit where she gained an extensive and well rounded experience. After 4 years of med/surg, she worked as a home care coordinator for a year a half. She then went back to the hospital but switched to cardiology-CCU stepdown and had been there ever since. Her specialty is med/surg, and patients who are post angioplasty, implanted cardiac devices and electrophysiology procedure.
