COMMENCEMENT & GRADUATION
On Monday May 11, 2009, the College of Nursing Graduation Ceremony will be held at the New Amsterdam Theatre (from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.) and on Wednesday, May 13, 2009, the 177th University Commencement Exercises will be held at Yankee Stadium (from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M). The University Commencement at Yankee Stadium will be a spectacular event, where Dean Charles Bertolami will confer the degrees of each academic program in the College of Dentistry and College of Nursing. At the College of Nursing Graduation Ceremony, NYUCN graduation candidates will ascend the stage at the New Amsterdam Theatre to accept their degrees. ACADEMIC ATTIRE & EVENT TICKET DISTRIBUTION
In order to attend either ceremony, you must obtain academic attire. To order you academic attire, log on to http://herff-jones.com/college/graduation and follow the prompts. The rental fees, according to your degree, may be paid online with MasterCard, Visa, or Discover.
To ensure proper handling and delivery, be sure to place your order by midnight Monday, April 13, 2009.
Herff-Jones representatives will be at the Coles Sports and Recreation Center, at 181 Mercer Street, beginning Tuesday, May 5 (for on time orders only) and from May 6 through May 12 (for all subsequent orders.) Please visit www.nyu.edu/commencement/attire.html for a complete schedule.
NYUCN graduation ticket distribution will take place on Thursday, April 23, 2009 from 8:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M. in the College of Nursing's 8th floor Conference Room and on Friday, April 24, 2009 from 12:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. in the College of Nursing's 8th floor Conference Room at 246 Greene Street.
Commencement and Grad Alley ticket distribution will take place at Coles Sports and Recreation Center on the same dates and times as academic attire distribution.

Monday, May 11, 2009, 7:30 A.M. (Pinning Component for May 2009 BS Graduates only at 8:00 A.M. on the first floor of the ESPN Zone.
Only one guest per graduate, the pinner, will be allowed on the first floor of the ESPN Zone during the pinning ceremony.
All other graduates are welcome to breakfast on the second and third floors.)
