The Martha E. Rogers Center was established in 1995
at New York University to honor
Martha E. Rogers and to provide
a structure through which her
work could be continued. The Center
will help to focus national and
international scholarly activity
relating to the science of unitary
human beings; disseminate relevant
information through conferences
and publications; provide an interactive
mechanism for sharing ideas and
knowledge; generate support for
further research and scholarship;
and provide for a collection of
writings and other works related
to the science of unitary human
beings. Beginning in 1997, the
Center has sponsored a Visiting
Scholar each year. Scholars have
included Dr. Francelyn Reeder
in 1997, Dr. Pamela Reed in 1998,
Dr. Mary Madrid in 1999, Dr. W.
Richard Cowling, III in 2000,
and Dr. Elizabeth Barrett in 2001.
Each year, a Dialogue takes place
at New York University, consisting
of approximately 40 Rogerian scholars.
Past Dialogue facilitators have
included Dr. Margaret Newman,
Dr. Sarah Gueldner, Dr. Richard
Cowling, Dr. Howard Butcher, Kathy
Matas,and Dr. Joanne Griffin for
Dialogue 2000 and 2002.
The Center began sponsoring the
Rogerian Conference in 1998. Each
conference has a keynote speaker
and around 35 presentations. The
Martha E. Rogers Golden Slinky
Award is presented at each of
the conferences. The Center provides
consultation and information about
Rogers' science of unitary human
beings. The Center maintains a
