Advanced Practice Nursing: Adult Nurse Practitioner/Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner

Degrees Offered/Clinical Experience:
  • Master of Science: 57 credits, 1100 clinical hours
  • Post Master's Advanced Certificate: 12-42 credits, maximum 600 clinical hours

  • Graduates of this program are eligible for Certification Examination for dual certification as both Adult Nurse Practitioners (ANCC or AANP) and Palliative Care Advanced Practice RN (AHNA).

Practicum Opportunities
  • Premier teaching hospital centers (e.g., Mt. Sinai Medical Center, NYU Medical Center, Beth Israel Medical Center, Bronx VA Medical Center).
  • Unique practicum experiences in hospices, Palliative Care consultation services, out-patient clinics, private practice and in-patient palliative care services.
  • All placements are arranged by faculty.
  • Placement possibilities are available throughout the tri-state area.
