Advanced Practice Nursing: Adult Nurse Practitioner/Holistic Nurse Practitioner

Degrees Offered/Clinical Experience:
  • Master of Science: 54 credits, 1100 clinical hours
  • Post Master's Advanced Certificate: 18-33 credits, maximum 670 clinical hours

  • Eligibility to sit for the American Holistic Nurses' Association advanced practice certification exam and the ANCC Adult Nurse Practitioner certification exam.

  • Select clinical settings provide for holistic assessment, health promotion and wellness, preventative services in acute and ambulatory care, specialty clinics, centers for health and healing, and integrative health centers.
  • Premier teaching hospital centers (e.g., Mt. Sinai Medical Center, NYU Medical Center, Beth Israel Medical Center).
  • Unique private practices, stress-management clinics, mental health, and home care agencies supportive of the Holistic Nurse Practitioner.
  • All placements are arranged by faculty.
  • Placement possibilities are available throughout the tri-state area.
