Welcome to the College of Nursing at the College of Dentistry, New York University!

Dear Friends,

As our incoming class of 2012 joins us, the College of Nursing is thriving! With well over 1100 students and clinical placements at over 250 sites in the metropolitan New York City area, we know that we are doing our part to help solve the nation's nursing shortage. Our passion for this work is obvious, as evidenced by the growing number of faculty and programs in place to advantage our talented students. As they join the profession, we feel confident that the public will be the beneficiary in important and far-reaching ways.

Our faculty are nationally regarded researchers, scholars, teachers and most importantly, nurses. Geriatrics, HIV/AIDS , and workforce research are key examples of the exciting work underway. The faculty practices at the College of Dentistry and on our mobile health van set the standards for what it means to be "in and of the city" our New York University motto.
