International Students

The NYU Master's Program in Global Public Health welcomes applications from prospective students all over the world. In fact, international students make up 27% of our current student body, representing such countries as Austrailia, Bangladesh, Barbados, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Dominican Republic, England, Germany, Grenada, India, Israel, Italy, Korea, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Rwanda, Slovakia, South Africa, and Taiwan.

As an international student, we recognize that you might have a variety of questions regarding graduate study in the United States. We encourage you to contact us with any questions as well as to visit the website of NYU's Office of International Students and Scholars which provides a wealth of information and resources that will be helpful to you.

If you are interested in applying, we strongly recommend beginning the process early to ensure that all supporting documentation from foreign institutions arrives in the admissions office by the appropriate deadlines.

Admitted international students must complete the online Application for Certificate of Eligibility (AFCOE). The completed AFCOE along with financial support information should be submitted to the Office for International Students and Scholars (OISS), which will then process the appropriate documents for securing a visa. Specific instructions regarding the online AFCOE form and the visa process can be found here.
