COMMUNITY SERVICE

Community Service as "service or experiential learning", is an integral part of the Scholars Program. Learning related to the tasks performed focuses on broader social, political, historical, and cultural issues. In-class dialogue and presentations provide opportunities for reflection about service experiences. On-site service, exchange and discussion give scholars opportunity to develop critical leadership skills to become active “change agents.”
