  • Center Youth Enrichment Services (YES)
    Activity based empowerment/prevention program for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Youth aged 13 to 21.
  • The Door

  • Identity House
    New York City's oldest LGBT counseling and referral organization. Peer counseling, therapy referrals, coming out discussion groups, conferences and social events.
  • Karen Horney Clinic

  • Lesbian Therapists Referral Network

  • Parents and Friends of Lesbian and Gays (PFLAG)

  • Suicide Hotline--Samaritans of New York

  • Bronx Lavender Community Center (BLLC)
    Home base of a variety of educational, cultural, social, political, spiritual, human services and health programs; service organizations, agencies and peer groups.
  • Brooklyn Lesbian Youth Sisters
    Weekly support groups for Lesbian and Bisexual young women. Mon.-Fri., 9:30am-6pm. Counselors 3pm-6pm.

  • Department of Health - Chelsea Clinic
    Free HIV and STD Testing. HIV testing is anonymous OR confidential - your choice. Opens at 8:30am Mon-Fri (line up at 8am to get a number) OR call HIV Hotline at 1-800-825-5448 to make an appointment. 303 9th Ave. (28th St.), 2nd Floor.
  • Gay Men's Health Crisis (GMHC)

  • Jewish Board of Family and Children's Services

    12-bed transitional living program for HIV+ young people between 16 and 22.

  • Bronx Lesbian and Gay Health Resource Consortium (BLGHRC)
    HIV counseling, smoking cessation program, educational room, health-related workshops, and a variety of other health related services.
  • TalkSafe and Pluses
    Offer individual, couple, and group counseling for HIV-negative and HIV-positive gay and bisexual men. Our counselors are mental health professionals and peer counselors trained in providing gay-affirmative HIV prevention counseling.

    ALP's Community Information Line: 718-596-0016 A center for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Two Spirit and Transgender people of color communities. Have information on many organizations serving LGBT People of Color.
