Your first step to joining the NYUServiceProject is choosing a partner organization! Please read about the different volunteer opportunities that are available at our partner organizations and decide which one is the best fit. Then simply sign-up, and someone from the agency will reach out to you with more information on training dates, etc.  If you still have questions, please join us for the Spring Service Fair and meet with each organization in person.


Once you have determined at which site you would like to volunteer, please visit the NYUServiceProject page on NYUServiceConnect and sign-in to create your profile.

As a member of the NYUServiceProject, what are my responsibilities?

      • Commit to a minimum of 2 hours of service a week with your agency (unless otherwise specified by the agency)
      • Attend 2 reflection events with your team
      • Work with your team to develop a special project for your agency
      • Attend all required events and programs for the NYUServiceProject and your agency
      • Maintain in good standing with the University as a fully matriculated student
      • Abide by all agency, NYUServiceProject, Center for Student Activities, Leadership and Service, New York University, guidelines, procedures, and policies
      • Serve as an ambassador of the NYUServiceProject program, Center for Student Activities, Leadership and Service, New York University, and your agency
