HIV Testing and Counseling

An appointment is required to access these services.

HIV Testing and Counseling Services are available at the NYU Student Health Center at no cost to all NYU students regardless of insurance. Individuals can gather educational materials, undergo confidential testing, and speak with a healthcare professional regarding any HIV-related issue in a safe, non-judgmental environment. Knowing your HIV status is the first step in getting information and taking action to stay healthy.

Our dedicated HIV Counselor is available for HIV testing, providing educational materials, and/or answering questions regarding HIV-related issues. To schedule an appointment, call Primary Care at (212) 443-1122 or make an appointment online.

Testing for HIV and STIs (sexually transmitted infections) can also be performed during a routine visit with Primary Care and Women’s Health.
