Classes on floors 1-5 will go forward today. But if you do not need to be in the office, best to work from home. The elevators will not be working, the network will not be operational on floors 1-9 for some period on Tuesday, and the network on floors 10-13 will be out through at least the day today.
Due to a significant water leak earlier today, Warren Weaver Hall — home to the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences — will be closed for the rest of the day today, Monday, February 13, 2012.
There were no injuries associated with the leak, and our facilities crews are at work on correcting the problem with an eye towards re-opening the building tomorrow.
Students who have classes in Warren Weaver Hall today should be in touch with their professors about the rescheduling or relocation of classes, and should continue to monitor their NYU email accounts and check back here for information about the timing of the re-opening of the building.
Faculty, administrators, and staff who work in Warren Weaver should likewise monitor their emails and the Info Alert site for news of developments.
