One of the most important learning experiences for students included in attending college is learning how to manage their time and a broader financial responsibility.The Office of the University Registrar and the Office of the Bursar are the primary offices associated with registering and paying for classes.  The more that you know about how these offices work, the easier it will be to navigate this new found responsibility.

The Office of the University Registrar provides students, through its various departments, services that include Albert (Online Student Information System), Change of Name and Address, Classroom & Final Exam Scheduling, Degree Audit, Diplomas, Enrollment Verification, Grading, Graduation Application Processing, Registration, TAP Certification (review TAP eligibility requirements), Transcripts, and VA Certification.

Paying for Classes

The Office of the Bursar is the central billing and collection point for New York University. The department is responsible for managing the university billing, collecting, refunding and cashiering functions.

The Bursar's Office staff is available to assist students and parents with activities related to paying their bill and other financial services. They recognize that their office has a direct influence on how students and parents view the University as a whole, and they continue to strive to provide services in an efficent and timely manner.
