NYU has launched an exhibition and event space, NYU Open House, which will be free and open to the public.
This is a multi-purpose space intended to serve as a civic and cultural commons - where the life of the University meets that of the larger city. It offers:
- A varied program of changing exhibitions and public events, including film screenings, talks, conferences, and panels.
- An ongoing exhibition called "The Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire: One Hundred Years After" - about the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire and its contemporary lessons
