Welcome to the Helen & Martin Kimmel Center for University Life. This beautiful facility, joined by the adjacent Global Center for Academic & Spiritual Life, is the nexus of NYU’s campus activity for undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, staff, departments, and alumni.
The Kimmel Center and the Global Center are located on the south side of Washington Square Park next to NYU’s Elmer Holmes Bobst Library at 60 Washington Square South.
Reserving Space
The Kimmel Center for University Life and the Global Center for Academic & Spiritual Life have a number of incredible reservable spaces. With breathtaking views of Manhattan and Washington Square Park, we can offer versatile and diverse spaces to students looking to practice music, students looking to rehearse for plays and films, and student clubs and NYU departments for meetings and events.
We can also host events from outside 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations.
NYU Students, Clubs, and Departments
NYU-affilited students, groups, and departments can use Kimmel OneStop to browse and reserve space online. Students who haven’t yet used the system will need to open an account, which is subject to approval by the Kimmel Operations office.
Outside Organizations
Organizations not affiliated with the University may request space in the Kimmel Center for University Life and the Global Center for Academic & Spiritual Life. Some restrictions do apply. All information pertaining to reservations by outside organizations can be found on our Conference and Event Services site.
