Resources and Services

University life at NYU is supplemented with a variety of resources and services provided by the University.  From major ingredients like financial aid, registration, information technology, and housing to the important daily details like lockers and copying services, this section provides you with invaluable resources that will make your life easier.

The Student Resource Center

The Student Resource Center makes staff and programming available to students to ensure they are capitalizing on all of the activities and services that the University and New York City have to offer.  SRC connects student communities, helps students navigate academic and social resources at NYU and is a general source for questions about student life.  The Kimmel Center hosts much of that student life.  The expansive Washington Square building is a center for campus activity.  It houses one of the University’s largest dining halls, lounges, galleries, practice rooms, auditorium spaces, lockers and outdoor terraces.  The Shorin Performance Center, Skirball Center for the Performing Arts and Ticket Central are also located in the Kimmel Center, making it a hub of culture and arts, as well as student life resource.

Wasserman Center for Career Development

Students can also get career guidance from the Wasserman Center for Career Development.  Services including the NYU CareerNet help students take advantage of NYU’s New York City location and the internship and professional opportunities it offers.  The Center posts job listings, connects students with alumni and mentors, counsels students on interview skills, and offers career advice.

NYUCard and Campus Cash

Another great resource for students is their NYUCard and Campus Cash, a convenient and easy program that allows the use of the NYUCard as a debit card on and around campus, including at 95 local merchants.

Other Resources

From paying and registering for classes using the Offices of the Bursar and Registrar to shopping for supplies at one of the University bookstores or Computer Store, there are a wide range of services and resources that are available to students that ease university life at NYU.
