Visiting Faculty Suite

Living Room

We want your stay with us to be relaxing and meaningful! We've provided an overview of the accommodations and information about the program below.

The suite itself is a one bedroom apartment with a kitchen and a bathroom. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed;. All linens are provided. The suite includes a laptop computer with access to internet. Additionally, a guest username and password will be provided for access to the NYU wireless network from any personal devices.

For your convenience, we've provided an iron/ironing board, a hairdryer, and toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap). If you need other toiletries, there is a drug store down the street from the building. We have done our very best to provide a high-quality, comfortable living space for you during your stay. It is important to note, however, that we do not have a full service concierge service. There is a public safety officer present 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in the building. We also provide contact information for you in case of emergencies after hours and during the work day.

Programs and Events

The suite is a perfect place to host one or both of your events. There is a living room and a dining room that will facilitate an intimate dinner and discussion. You will be paired with a professional staff liaision and/or faculty member that will work with you to develop, market and execute your programs. Our support staff handles all of the logistical support (ordering food, buying tickets, renting movies, etc.) through your liaision. Our mission is to have you spend quality time with our students and let us handle the details.

The visiting faculty suite is situated at 310 Third Avenue between 23rd and 24th streets. We recommend either taking a cab (approximately $30 from LaGuardia, $50 from JFK, $60 from Newark) or the closest subway is:

  • 6 to 23rd Street (Green Local Line)

Please note that travel costs (including cabs to/from airport) are not included with the accommodations. If you have any other questions about the accommodations or the program, please feel free to e-mail The Academic Development Team within Residential Life and Housing Services at or call us at 212-998-4600.
