NYU offers guest accommodation housing at the Greenwich Hotel to NYU-affiliated guests for a maximum of two weeks based on availability. The guest accommodations are unadorned dormitory rooms on the first floor of the Greenwich Hotel Residence Hall. Accommodations are similar to a youth hostel.

All guests are provided with the following items: an extra-long twin bed, pillow, blanket, desk, desk chair and dresser. In addition, each suite contains a kitchenette with refrigerator, stove and oven (guests must supply their own cooking and eating utensils).
Upon arrival, each guest receives a set of bed linens and a towel. Guests are responsible for making their own bed at check-in and placing the dirty linens in the bag provided upon check-out.
Complimentary wi-fi service is provided (guest will receive passwords for use at check-in).
All guests should check in between 3:00pm and 10:00pm on their scheduled arrival date.
Guests who arrive later then the scheduled check-in times will be checked in by on-duty staff paged to the Resource Center (reception desk).
Upon check-in, guests will be issued a key packet and a temporary ID card. This ID card must be shown to the NYU Public Safety Officer with a photo ID each time the guest enters the building.
The temporary ID card will also allow guests access to the NYU Trolley service which runs from the Greenwich Hotel to the main NYU campus.
Check-out: All guests must check-out by 11:00am on their scheduled departure date.
Express check-out is available for guests leaving before 10:00am when the Resource Center opens for the day.
After completing the reservation request form (see link below), guest accommodation applicants will be notified by email about availability. If space is available, guests will be required to make full payment within 24 hours after receipt of e-mail. Only credit card payments (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover) are accepted. We do not accept cash, checks, or traveler’s checks. [Please note: guests who will be paying by NYU inter-departmental transfer will not have to provide credit card information.]
The Greenwich Hotel has a 24 hour cancellation policy. Guests who submit a cancellation request after 5:00pm the day prior to their scheduled arrival date will be subject to a $25 cancellation fee. Guests who do not cancel in advance or do not show up for their reservations, will be charged a fee equal to one night's stay. Guests who decide to change their dates of stay must do so in writing to email@example.com. Guests who request to increase their stay must make additional payment within 24 hours of submitting request. Guests reducing their stay will be issued a refund accordingly.
Guests staying on the first floor of the Greenwich Hotel are allowed up to three visitors at one time. These visitors must have valid photo ID and must be signed in with the NYU Public Safety Officer. All visitors must be signed out of the building by 11:00pm as no overnight visitors are allowed. No exceptions will be made to this rule. Only guests with temporary IDs (issued upon check-in) will be allowed to stay in the building after 11:00pm.
