Welcome to the Graduate Student Halls! Washington Square Village (WSV) is one of the two graduate residential communities that comprise the “Grad Halls.” The Grad Halls are a diverse community of graduate students at NYU with approximately 250 residents and 7 Resident Assistants. Located in the village, just steps from Washington Square Park and the main NYU campus, WSV provides graduate students the opportunity to live in an apartment complex that is home to students, faculty and community members.

The “Grad Halls” strive to be a support system and important resource for our residential students. Throughout the year, we collaborate with many campus offices, such as the Office of Graduate Student Life at the Student Resource Center and the Office for International Scholars, to bring you social, academic, and cultural programming. Our staff members are eager to have students engage with one another and take advantage of the many opportunities found at NYU and in NYC.
