Each residence hall at NYU has a dedicated team of professional and student staff to ensure students' safety, strong sense of community and a smooth, efficient administrative operations. The professional staff is made up of a Residence Hall Director, Residence Hall Resource Manager and a Residence Hall Assistant Director. In collaboration with the Department of Public Safety and the Office of Facilities and Construction Management, this team will help shape your residential experience at NYU.

Hello! I'm so glad to serve as the Residence Hall Director of University Hall and look forward to getting to know and being a resource to our fantastic residents. I'm a (suburban) Detroiter by birth, Minnesotan by education/marriage, New Yorker by choice. I hold a BA in Communication from the University of Toledo and my MA in Leadership, Policy, & Administration from the University of St. Thomas. Prior to NYU, I worked in housing at both the University of Minnesota and Oberlin College. Outside of work, I am an avid theatre-goer (and slight nerd) and love taking advantage of all the city has to offer on that front with my partner, Rebecca. Additionally, I am passionate about social justice education and am always to have a conversation or learn something new. Feel free to stop by and say hi. Welcome to UHall!

Hi! IHello! My name is Mike, and I am happy to be University Hall's Residence Hall Assistant Director. Originally from CT, I came to NYU and earned a Bachelor's degree in Politics/History and a Master's degree in Secondary Social Studies Education. I am a History buff and can usually be found with some nerdy book nearby. I am also a Housing buff having worked in several NYU Residence Halls in my time here. Therefore, I have a wealth of information about both Abraham Lincoln and your residence hall.
