The professional staff consists of a Residence Hall Director (RHD), Residence Hall Assistant Director (RHAD) and a Residence Hall Resource Manager (RHRM) all who have offices in either the Residential Life and Hosuing Services Office or the Resource Center. All staff living in the hall serve as amazing resources to residents and work hard to help build strong communities on all floors and throughout the entire building.

I serve the Greenwich and ORLHS team as the Greenwich RHD and the Student Staff Training Coordinator for our department. I have worked for the Department of Residential Life and Housing Services for the past six years and have lived in 7th Street, Third North, 2nd Street, and Palladium Hall. In 2004, I received my BA in Psychology from Tufts University and I completed my MA in Higher Education Administration from NYU in 2009. I enjoy all things wilderness, including camping, biking, and hiking.  I am so happy to live right next to the Hudson River Park and the west side highway! My adorable Corgi-mix, Shorty, and I have called Greenwich Hotel our home since August 2011.  Welcome to G-Ho, your G-Home:)

I am excited to become a part of the Greenwich Hotel community and serve as your Residence Hall Assistant Director. I’m originally from Lawrence, Massachusetts which is about 45 minutes from Boston. I received my BA in Sociology from Boston College in 2010 and decided to continue on there, receiving my MA in Higher Education Administration this past May. After spending the majority of my life in the Boston area, I wanted a change in pace and scenery. New York City has much to offer – vibrant culture, high energy, and a unique environment – everything I hope to incorporate into the student experience at NYU. My favorite things to do are eat, explore/travel, read, and spend quality time with good company. I am looking forward to building an awesome community for our residents!

I'm Kim Thompson the Residence Hall Resource Manager (RHRM) at Greenwich. I was born and raised in Queens, New York. Last year was my first year as RHRM and I'm excited for the next school year! I look forward to welcoming new residents to the Greenwich community, and invite you to stop by the Greenwich Hotel Resource Center.
