Moving Out

Thank you for your tenure in faculty housing

Residents of Faculty Housing are encouraged to review this webpage carefully when planning to vacate their residence. Your move-out process will be primarily managed by NYU's property manager, Cushman & Wakefield.  Please refer to the information below to guide you through your move. 



Move-out Date and Surrender Agreement Forms

Moving Companies, Insurance & Elevator Reservations

Button: display or hide We require that move-outs occur Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm.  To remain considerate of current residents, we do not allow any exceptions to this policy.

Below are moving companies that have been recommended by other faculty members and have insurance certificates on file with NYU:

If you do not use one of the above moving companies, then prior to moving in, a certificate of moving insurance must be supplied to Cushman & Wakefield by your moving company:

Elevators must also be reserved in advance of your move.  To reserve an elevator, please contact the Client Services Center:

Utility Accounts

Apartment Keys, Playground Key, Garage Remote & Bicycle Key

Security Deposit
