Greater NYU Community

For the greater NYU community, the University requires at least a 10% down payment, but please note that many lenders are now requiring at least 20%. Please note that the subsidized financing or RAMP loan is only available to Eligible NYU affiliates living in University rental housing.

Eligible Affiliates in NYU Housing

For eligible affiliates living in NYU rental housing, the University will finance 30% of the purchase price of the condominium unit with a zero-interest, shared appreciation loan. Please refer to the following documents for full information on the Riverwalk Affordable Mortgage Program (RAMP).
