With online learning and development modules, NYU community members can continue to develop their understanding of what it means to be inclusive, welcoming, and equitable—and learn how to best put this understanding into action—as their schedule allows.
The Office of Global Inclusion, Diversity, and Strategic Innovation is excited to share the launch of the Mitigating Microaggression Training Module. The online training module has been developed in partnership with the School for Professional Studies and SPS Center for Academic Excellence and Support (CAES) and in consultation with faculty and inclusion officers from across NYU schools and NYU Abu Dhabi.
The training module is designed so students, staff, administrators, and faculty can learn about microaggressions, how to respond to microaggressions, and how to be an ally for NYU community members who experience microaggressions. The overall objective of the training module is to make the NYU community a more inclusive environment for all and to decrease incidents of bias, discrimination, and non-inclusive behavior.
Module Coming Late Fall 2019
